Cadillac Named the Top Luxury Brand for Technology by J.D. Power
J.D. Power Names Cadillac the Top Luxury Brand for In-Vehicle Technology
The J.D. Power 2026 U.S. Tech Experience Index (TXI) Study named Cadillac the highest overall and the leading premium brand for technology innovation, with a score of 641 out of 1,000. Genesis (559), BMW (524), Lincoln (522), and Mercedes-Benz (513) rounded out the premium category. Notably, Cadillac's score surpassed every automaker evaluated, not just those in the luxury segment.

What the Tech Experience Index actually measures
The TXI study takes an in-depth look at real technology experiences. J.D. Power surveyed 68,084 owners of 2026 model-year vehicles after 90 days of ownership, gathering insights on 40 technologies across five categories: comfort and convenience, connected vehicle, driver assist, electric vehicle, and smart vehicle features. The purpose is to identify which technologies truly enhance the ownership experience rather than add unnecessary complexity.

A clear trend emerged in this year's results: owners increasingly prefer technology that operates seamlessly in the background, such as smart ignition and climate control, over more complex or flashy systems. Features that simplify the driving experience and require less driver input are earning the greatest trust.

What it says about Cadillac's approach
Cadillac's top ranking in the J.D. Power study reflects feedback from tens of thousands of owners who used their vehicles daily over several months. This recognition highlights how Cadillac technology performs in real-world conditions and consistently earns drivers' trust.
